Products Description
The GD(3) single stage centrifugal pump is built for stable water circulation and pressure boosting in compact system layouts. Its close-coupled construction reduces transmission loss and keeps the unit compact, while the optimized impeller and flow passage design help maintain efficient performance across everyday operating conditions.
Developed for practical industrial and building-service use, the GD(3) single stage centrifugal pump offers dependable hydraulic performance, straightforward installation, and low routine maintenance requirements.
Structure and Materials
The GD(3) single stage centrifugal pump uses a close-coupled vertical layout in which the motor and hydraulic section are assembled as one unit. This design helps save installation space, simplifies alignment, and makes the pump easier to fit into equipment rooms with limited footprint.
For standard service conditions, the casing, cover, and impeller are manufactured from durable cast iron. For applications involving more demanding media or operating environments, alternative material options are available to improve corrosion resistance and extend service life.

Motor Options
We can offer more than five different motor options/configurations for GD(3) single stage centrifugal pump.
Application of pump
The GD(3) single stage centrifugal pump is intended for clean water circulation, transfer, and pressure support in closed or semi-open systems. It is best suited to liquids with flow characteristics close to water and is commonly selected for HVAC circulation, booster sets, equipment matching, process water transfer, and general utility services.
Typical installations include commercial building water systems, cooling loops, light industrial process lines, and selected wastewater support duties where the liquid is low in solids and non-aggressive to standard materials.

FAQ
Q: Can this pump handle liquids other than water?
A: Yes, it can handle liquids that are similar to water in terms of viscosity and chemical properties. However, it is not usually recommended for liquids that are highly corrosive, contain large solid particles, or are too thick. For special liquids, it's always better to confirm the material compatibility first.
Q: Is a single stage centrifugal pump easy to install?
A: In most cases, yes. These pumps are known for their simple structure and straightforward installation. As long as the piping layout is correct and the motor power matches the system requirements, installation and daily operation are generally quite easy.
Q: Does this pump require frequent maintenance?
A: Not really. Under normal working conditions, a single-stage centrifugal pump usually needs only routine inspection and basic maintenance, such as checking the mechanical seal, bearings, and motor condition. Regular maintenance helps extend service life and keep the pump running efficiently.
